That’s awfully sad. I hope you haven’t given up on the future yet. There’s many who long for the “good old days”, but they forget all the bad things that were part of those “good old days”.
When I was a kid, the Vietnam war was raging, there were assassinations, rioting, demonstrations, etc…
And yet many consider those the “good old days”.
Keep hoping and stay positive in the years to come.
